About Us
- Michael Jarman Architecture was established in 1986 in Birmingham, Michigan to focus solely on residential architecture. In 2015, we opened an office in Glenn, Michigan to bring our style and dedication to clients on the west side of Michigan.
- The ability to listen intently to our clients is what separates us from other architects. Through listening, we uncover the client's needs and desires of their ideal home. Then we explore how they live and use their home in order to design a home our clients will love for their lifetime.
- We believe in interactive design. As we talk with our clients, we are simultaneously creating sketches on onion skin to see if we are capturing their desires correctly. This follows Michael Graves' belief... "Architecture cannot divorce itself from drawing, no matter how impressive technology gets. Drawings express the interaction of our minds, eyes and hands. This is why I continue to conceptualize in drawings, to have a closeness with the process that is lost to those using the computer."
